Hello girls,
I was looking at e-pals this morning and found this very useful resource for us. It has lots of ideas about how we can go about our project. We can obviously adapt it for our own purposes but I think it will help us with some of our objectives and give us ideas!

Google Map
I set up our google map and sent invitations to both of you to the emails you gave me for the blog set up.
Should we have our students find out what the weather is in different countries in the world?
I set up an example placemark at Kalamazoo, MI. I know I have to be missing some key information that would help the students to understand climate and weather from around the world, so let me know what other information our students should gather through e-pals.

Direction Question
This is all on the attempted concept map blog, but I haven't got any replies for a few days so I wondered if you two saw this. The part in blue is what Kelsey said and my reply is in black again. Am I on track or what direction are we actually heading for the final project. Also, Alyssa, I don't know what two days you are doing the weather journal on, can you let us know? We already started on this for this week.
So you final project, which all the assignments and everything you have them doing, will be towards a weather journal? Is that correct?
This is ok, just asking. Why do you deem a weather journal important? I am just interested in knowing how you concluded this, so don't feel you did anything wrong.
My understanding was that the weather journal was going to be used as a tool for the students to help them to understand and record weather.
Group, correct me if I am wrong or you have another opinion as to the final project aim.
Below is what I replied:
My idea was that after students have learned about different aspects of weather that they could work together to make their own weather station and forecast weather. They could also make a video of their forecast as if they are real meterologists.
Is this the idea you have for a final project in project based learning?
Module 4
Can you guys both list your email address on here, so i can invite you to use our folder on Google Documents?
Thanks!

Weather Journal
I just figured that we could make one run on journal, so that it would be easier to view when necessary. I will begin tomorrow, and we can all post on here!

Attempted Concept Map?
Alright here it is! I am not sure if this was the direction we wanted to take it or not, but please read over it carefully, and let me know what you think! I can always keep making changes! Also, we did decide that our PBL for this topic will be a weather journal for the students, correct? Or did i randomly make that notion up? haha

Brainstorming for Rough Draft Concept Map
Hello group!
I just wanted to open up a post for us to begin brainstorming for the rough draft for our concept map. Here are a couple of questions that I thought of to get us started.
There are so many directions to go as far as weather is concerned, which direction do we want to go? Are we going to be focused on the more scientific concepts of weather?
Are we going to keep a daily weather journal of temperatures, humidity, precipitation, etc? If so, are each of us going to keep a separate journals since I know that at least me and Leah are in different locations?
I am not sure if I am on the right track as far as our project is concerned. If the professor would like to comment to clarify the assignment, it would be appreciated.
Any other ideas or suggestions?

Inspiration Downloads
Hello Group! I am so excited for this class, because my first try at an online class did not go as well as it could have...
Anyways, I can download Inspiration the first time we need to use it, however, i have already downloaded it once for my biology class, but i think it will let me do it again. I will try it and keep everyone posted.
