Attempted Concept Map?


Alright here it is! I am not sure if this was the direction we wanted to take it or not, but please read over it carefully, and let me know what you think! I can always keep making changes! Also, we did decide that our PBL for this topic will be a weather journal for the students, correct? Or did i randomly make that notion up? haha

    I thought today of the kids visiting a weather station. Also, after covering some aspects of the weather the students could make a video of themselves being meterologists and forecasting the weather.

    The only thing that I might move around is where the rain, snow, hail, flood, etc is and try to connect it with the extreme weather. Actually I don't think you have to move it to connect them, do you?

    Concept maps do not need titles. I do believe that someone from the group emailed me...Leah. Just posting here to make sure you know.

    So you final project, which all the assignments and everything you have them doing, will be towards a weather journal? Is that correct?

    This is ok, just asking. Why do you deem a weather journal important? I am just interested in knowing how you concluded this, so don't feel you did anything wrong.

    My understanding was that the weather journal was going to be used as a tool for the students to help them to understand and record weather.

    Group, correct me if I am wrong or you have another opinion as to the final project aim.

    My idea was that after students have learned about different aspects of weather that they could work together to make their own weather station and forecast weather. They could also make a video of their forecast as if they are real meterologists.

    Is this the idea you have for a final project in project based learning?
