Google Map

I set up our google map and sent invitations to both of you to the emails you gave me for the blog set up.

Should we have our students find out what the weather is in different countries in the world?

I set up an example placemark at Kalamazoo, MI.  I know I have to be missing some key information that would help the students to understand climate and weather from around the world, so let me know what other information our students should gather through e-pals.

  1. We should have students explore different places around the world. They should learn the difference between the North and South hemispheres and the seasons. Also I think it is important to explore the poles as well as the weather along the equator. Just a few ideas?!

  2. Good ideas, Alyssa! Those are good points for the students to explore so that they can know the difference between the north and south pole.

  3. I like the idea of having students do the "extreme situations", such as the equator and the poles. Great ideas!
